Season Three is the third season of S.W.A.T.. On May 9, 2019, CBS announced the renewal of S.W.A.T. for the 2019-2020 TV season, with a standard initial order of 21 episodes. The season was premiered on October 2, 2019, and has concluded on May 20, 2020.

- On March 16, 2020, Sony confirmed that third season has been suspended the production due to the COVID-19 worldwide pandemic.[3]
- After the shutdown S.W.A.T. confirmed that it was picked up the fourth season after the remaining three episodes will be shown has not been confirmed by CBS.
