Biography[]

Alfaro and Officer Jim Street had a heated rivalry when they were on Long Beach PD SWAT together, including three consecutive years fighting against each other in its boxing league. Alfaro's collars included several of Street's childhood friends, including his foster brother Nate Warren. At their rivalry's peak, Alfaro filed an anonymous complaint against Street alleging that he had embezzled money in order to pay for his latest motorcycle. Street was proven innocent, but he discovered Alfaro was behind it and thereafter resented him for nearly costing him everything.

When Alfaro petitioned to lateral from Long Beach PD SWAT to LAPD SWAT, he asked Street to speak in his favor and assumed he did. In reality, Street privately wrote to Hicks suggesting that Alfaro was not a good fit. Hicks approved the transfer over those objections.

Upon learning that Street distrusted Alfaro and would not explain why, Hondo assigned them both to guard the widow of Alexei Roman's driver, who had agreed to inform on him to the District Attorney's office. During their vigil, Rocker texted Alfaro to let him know Street had opposed Alfaro's transfer rather than supporting it. Street confronted him about the complaint, which led Alfaro to slander Street's childhood friends, including Nate. Street punched Alfaro in response, and the two briefly fistfight before discovering diamonds Alexie Roman had stolen in the dead driver's leather jacket. Realizing that Roman knew and was after them, Street and Alfaro secured the widow before going to confront Roman.

When Hondo asked about Alfaro's bruised eye, he lied that Roman had punched him. Hondo advised him to work with people like Street instead of against them. The two later reconciled, with Alfaro promising to not report Street's punch and the two agreeing to not be as combative as they were in Long Beach.

When 20-Squad and 50-Squad competed to see which, one will handle parade assignments for the remaining holidays of the year, Alfaro competed against Tan and Hondo in a game of cornhole with Rocker.

Alfaro can now join the team 20-Squad since he made peace with Tan.
