"Jack" is the seventeenth episode of the second season in the remake version of S.W.A.T., and the thirty-ninth episode overall, which was aired on March 7, 2019.
Summary[]
The team tries to zero in on a carjacking ring, but things went complicated when they discover heroin hidden in the cars. Meanwhile, Hondo decides to take in Daryl to stay with him and his mother. Deacon has problems returning the loan due to being on sick leave, and Mickey asks for a favor instead. Mumford juggles with his future in SWAT after being shot. After the case is resolved, Mumford decides to give his 30-day notice.

Trivia[]
- Mumford is listed with the first name "Jeff" throughout the show. But both Cortez and Hicks several times at the end of the episode address him as "Jack". Which gives this episode's title a double meaning. Also, in episode #2.19 (Invisible), his wife Nikki calls him "Jack".
- The character Whip refers to a carjacker named Diesel who resides in Franklin. This seems like a reference to Vin Diesel's character Dominic Toretto from the Fast and Furious franchise whose business is located in Echo Falls, Los Angeles roughly the same area as Franklin Hills.
