"Encore" is the thirteenth episode of second season in the remake version of S.W.A.T., and the thirty-fifth episode overall, which was aired on January 31, 2019.

Summary[]

5 low-level employees from 5 major companies are kidnapped by The Emancipators, the group they first encounter during the SLA-like kidnapping case, and the companies are held to ransom for the amount they have avoided paying in taxes. Whilst Hicks tries to determine if the heads of the companies are willing to sacrifice their employees lives to protect their finances, Hondo's emotional turmoil starts to get the best of him when he lashes out at the team for allowing one of them to escape. Even though they manage to arrest all the Emancipators involved, Hondo later gets a call from the ringleader wishing him luck at their next encounter.
